Did that worry you?
Confused you, blurred your memory
Something is going on behind retina;
Faded thoughts,
Trying to unfold the mystery
A blood stained hand impression
Questioned the investigation
Turns and twists
Twisted again
Mystery unsolved
A home carpeted with blood
Kids killed and never seen again
Pieces sold from their bodies
Left several unanswered questions
Mystery dissolved
A girl going home midnight
Disappeared from sight
Cloth over her mouth
She swallowed her cries, her pain
Thrown away once torn apart
Mystery on hold
Night on roads worst than a nightmare
Road turning into mischievous forest
Wearing insecurities
Beholding breaths
dread in eyes
Rushing towards home
Everyday conquering over fear
Wrapping strength
Disoriented by flapping tongues
Thoughts permeating on paper
Unrevealed mysteries flare up.

A beautiful poem, with so much of truth in it. It is almost as if reading the morning papers. Glad you picked up this topic to draw attention towards these daily crimes. This is surely an unusual post. Kudos!!

Simply superb!!
My first poem visit for this BAT and what my expressions are , I am impressed and moved at the same time. Your poem not only points out the truth but at the same time cautions us of all the above.
All the best
Unsolved cases of crimes would either remain mysteries, the criminals scot-free...and other mysteries that seem to haunt everyone out there are already part of our human existence...many still waiting to unfold, can men do it? Well that's another endless quest!
Well presented one Dr Pratibha...we really live in this world where mystery after mystery is what makes up our existence.
All the Best!
Pratibhaji,
I thought you were tired and gasping after the Blogeshwar post.

MYSTERY.... thats life tooo
the text is intense and is able to create the mood..but at places you ve ended abruptly...but still i liked it coz content actually makes you think..
scary but true...happens all the time
@wording mythoughts-thanks for huge encouragement.
@Bikramjit-thanks,yes life itself is a mystery.
@deorohit-thanks and the reason why at places I ended it abruptly because its not rhythm I was following but my heart.
@Nalini mam- yes it scared me while writing but unfortunately its the truth.
I must say that its needs immense perception and thought to convey mystery through poetry. I thought of doing it, but finally gave up the idea. To come to the topic, the situations of the current criminal happenings are portrayed so realistically. Great effort . All the best.
Your comment for my post gave me an inner satisfaction that there is, at least someone, who got the true feel of my message. Thanks a lot for your overwhelming appreciation. You made my day.
You have captured the sad side of the existing social mystery very well indeed!
