Against The Wind

Changing people faster than time
going along with instinct
may prove you a fool

chasing myself ,understanding self
difficult than understanding anything

wandering thoughts
emphasizing murmur
shimmering ideas
haunting minds

plucking souls
curtained feelings
bothering so much

taking shelter under pierced roof
rains are no longer inspiring
instead poring drops of miseries

changing clothes but
wearing same thoughts
crawling on mind once again
scratching me from myself

inspiration still holding my hand
pulling me towards hope
burying the old thoughts

healing the scratched wounds
grafting the burning scars
bringing new skin to the surface

loving to be in new skin
comfortable within
smiling again to the life

climbing the ladder carefully
promising myself to grow
encouraging myself not to stop in between
persistently moving against the wind.
